The circuit board for a simple radio telescope is half finished. If - a big if - my soldering works, it will pick up the Sun and Jupiter on the 20 Mhz waveband. So far so good, despite the odd mishap. Like having to spend an hour unsoldering seven legs of an integrated circuit because I hadn't noticed that the eighth leg was somehow folded beneath it.
